Nine Point Civil Advisory is inviting Expressions of Interest from motivated undergraduate students interested in flexible opportunities supporting real civil infrastructure projects.
This is not a single fixed role — we are building a pool of talented students who can support the business as projects and opportunities develop.
Depending on your interests and experience, opportunities may include civil engineering and design, road and rail infrastructure, drafting and modelling, design and project management support, technical documentation, project controls, optioneering, data analysis and general project delivery support.
Previous industry experience is not essential. We are looking for students who are enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn.
Experience with software such as 12d, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, GIS or similar engineering tools would be an advantage, but is not a require, would be an advantage but are not required, and what youment.
Work will be paid and designed to fit around university commitments, with the potential for additional hours during semester breaks and as project workloads increase.

Support civil infrastructure projects by developing road, rail, drainage and earthworks models in 12D. Ideal for designers who enjoy practical problem-solving, clean modelling, and helping projects move from concept through to delivery.
Prepare clear, accurate civil drawings for transport, infrastructure and development projects. We’re looking for experienced drafters who are confident working in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or both, and can support fast-moving project teams.
Start your consulting career with hands-on exposure to real infrastructure projects. You’ll support design management, technical reviews, documentation, and project delivery while building practical skills across civil engineering and transport.
